Richfield Elementary School has been proudly serving students in the Richfield Community for just over a century. The school is viewed as the center of this small agricultural community. The school itself has grown over the years, and currently meets the educational needs of 240 students.
In 2006, Richfield opened a brand new campus, offering our students and community with state of the art facilities. Teachers and staff at Richfield are dedicated to student achievement towards the Common Core State Standards. Furthermore, the small school setting allows for a family-like atmosphere. Often times, you will see 8th graders stopping and talking with 1st graders.
The school's commitment to student achievement has resulted in an annual API exceeding the state target of 800. In 2011, we recorded an API of 883, second among districts in Tehama County. Most recently, our 2013 API came in at 852. Academics are taken very seriously here. We are extremely proud of how hard our students, staff and parents work to maintain the tradition of academic excellence at Richfield School.
Please take time to view our website, and if you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call. If you are a parent of a student at the school, you will find this website very useful. We have included everything from calendars to menus, and there should be an answer to any question you may have. We are privleged to serve the academic needs of your students and thank you for supporting the Richfield Raiders!!
It is the mission of our school to provide a strong foundation to all of our students so that they may each realize their full potential as lifetime learners, and as responsible and productive members of our society. >> core values
